What Is The Difference Between Interstate and Intrastate?

Intrastate travel refers to transportation and commerce taking place within a single state, meaning both the point of origin and the destination are within the same state borders.  

Interstate travel refers to commercial travel taking place in two or more states where the driver will need to cross state lines to reach his destination.
