You need to register with the IRP if you are operating a vehicle used for the transportation of persons or property in two or more member jurisdictions. Apportionable vehicles must also have a gross vehicle weight exceeding 26,000 pounds, have three or more axles, or exceed 26,000 pounds when used in combination.
